PARK TWP., MI (WHTC) - The discovery of the body at an apartment complex on Holland’s North Side last night has led to a possible criminal investigation.
Family members of the unnamed 38-year-old Park Township man spent most of yesterday searching for him after he failed to report for work as scheduled on Sunday night before calling 911. According to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Detective Captain Mark Bennett, deputies didn’t take long and apparently didn’t have to go far from the area of 152nd Avenue and Ottawa Beach Road to find the victim, as he was lying next to his running car parked in the complex, and he apparently suffered head trauma.
Bennett added that the man had no history of medical issues, and investigators may know more about the circumstances of his death following results of an autopsy conducted at Spectrum-Blodgett Hospital. Anyone who may have more information on this incident is asked to contact the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department or Silent Observer (877-88-SILENT, http://mosotips.com).
