UNDATED (WHTC) -- A strain of flu that first appeared in the United States four years ago is causing major problems now.  The University of Michigan is reporting that they have more than a dozen adults and children on life support and most of them have been affected by the H1N1 strain of flu.  Hospital staff says as far as they can tell, the patients did not get the flu vaccine at all or got it too late to protect them fully.  One of the doctors in charge of treating the most critically ill flu patients, Lena Napolitano, says, “It’s not too late to vaccinate” and “There is plenty of vaccine available at drugstores and doctor’s offices and everyone over the age of six months should get the vaccine.”
