HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - It will be a busy night for Holland City Council members.
Prior to this evening’s scheduled biweekly work study session, the panel holds a special business meeting to take care of a couple of pressing matters. One is to approve the issuing of up to 195 million dollars in bonds to pay for building a new BPW power plant in the area of Fairbanks Avenue and 5th Street in the Eastern Gateway vicinity. The other is a public hearing, followed by a formal vote, on a five-year comprehensive parks and recreation master plan that must be filed with the Michigan DNR in order to be eligible for future state improvement grant money.
The work-study session involves discussion on the Lake Macatawa Project Clarity effort and the Windmill Island Gardens Business Plan, among other items.
