GRAND RAPIDS (WKZO) -- Two inmates at Ionia Correctional Facility are filing a federal suit over alleged harsh conditions within the jail.
Michael Robinson says he was routinely retaliated against after he accused a corrections officer of misconduct. He says his head was rammed into a door and he was put in a cage and beaten. Dayon King is also claiming "intense retaliation" in which he was beaten and sprayed with a chemical agent.
Michigan Department of Corrections officials have not commented on the suit.
