ALLENDALE, MI (WHTC) - Few details have been disclosed thus far about the discovery of a body in a dorm room on the Grand Valley State University campus in Allendale yesterday afternoon. All school officials are saying at this point is that a unnamed student was found by police around 1:45 PM in the unit at the Laker Village Apartments complex, and a preliminary investigation didn’t indicate any sign of foul play, although an autopsy has been called for to determine a cause of death. Counselors were on hand to assist affected students and staffers.
