UNDATED (WHTC) - Concerns about roof safety in the wake of heavy winter snow along the Lakeshore continue. Yesterday morning, a pole barn off of Old Allegan Road near Fennville collapsed due to the volume and weight of the snow on its roof. No humans were hurt, and four of five horses inside were saved. Last night, workers at the Padnos paper processing facility off of Viaduct Street in Grandville got out safely after that building’s roof came crashing down. Collapses earlier this week led to two women injured in a home behind Jenison High School, but nobody was inside a building on the Christian Reformed Conference Center grounds in Grand Haven.
