FLINT (WKZO) -- Efforts by Michigan State University to establish a medical school and public health foundation in downtown Flint by the fall are getting a big boost. The .C.S. Mott Foundation is giving the university a nine-million dollar grant. The money will be used to create an endowment to be used in part to expand the number of students trained in Flint and recruit top health researchers to be based in the city.
