HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) -- With all the snow we’ve had this year and the city of Holland is approaching the 10 foot mark, snow at intersections is really piling up. The City does provide clearing for streets and many sidewalks but some help is needed from citizens. City Manager Ryan Cotton is hoping that you’ll help out as much as you can by knocking back some of the snow accumulation at side street corners and it might not be as difficult as you think. Cotton said just knocking the top off of the piles of snow will be a lot of help. So if you live near a corner where the snow is piling up or the fire hydrant near your house is buried, give it your best effort and you might prevent and accident or an emergency.
