HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - Plans for a proposed new Crescent Shores Marina off of Lake Macatawa were unanmiously approved by the Holland Planning Commission last night. The 27-unit complex, complete with new docks and other amenities, would be built on the current 2.9-acre marina site off of 16th Street and Crescent Drive, next to the Heinz pickle plant. A similar proposal had been endorsed by planners over three years ago, but an economic downturn at the time prevented any construction. Developers say that the first units in this plan could be completed by year’s end.
