UNDATED (WHTC) -- Wiping out on slick, icy roads can be costly for Michigan drivers. Michigan State Police are issuing tickets for violating basic speed laws, and they don't even have to witness the accident. MSP Lt. Michael Shaw told the "Detroit News" that if thousands of others pass through an area with no problem and another driver doesn't, they can assume that driver was going too fast. Today’s forecast is calling for more lake effect snow along the Lakeshore, which could result in slick roads and reduced visibility in some areas.
