UNDATED (WHTC) -- Help for Michigan’s veterans and their families is on the way through recent legislation and an infusion of funds through the state’s budget. Legislation introduced in January will make it easier for spouses of military assigned to duty in Michigan to obtain a professional license in the state. The bills have been referred to the Senate Committee on Veterans, Military Affairs and Homeland Security. Governor Snyder has proposed a total of $4.2-milliion in one-time funds for maintenance and improvements at Michigan’s two veterans’ homes.
