UNDATED (WHTC) -- Governor Snyder is revealing his tax relief plan on Wednesday. The state had a budget surplus for fiscal year 2014 of $971-million-dollars. That total was reached after adding the 429-million-dollar surplus from 2013 with the projected revenue surplus from 2014. State Representative Joe Haveman thinks that the surplus should be spent conservatively. Haveman said that two thirds of the surplus is one-time money and we may not see that amount again next year. The other third is projected to continue but Haveman says that caution should be exercised and that we should not continually grow the budget.
