WASHINGTON, D.C. (WKZO) -- General Motors has linked 13 deaths to problems with ignition switches in cars, but its compensation fund has received 100 claims for deaths through Friday. The "Detroit News" reports the fund has received a total of 284 claims after starting to accept them on August 1st. No determinations have been made if the deaths are eligible for settlements from the fund as yet. Claims will be accepted through the end of this year.
