UNDATED (WHTC) -- Gov. Rick Snyder announced the reappointment of Sally Laukitis, of Holland, to the Michigan Travel Commission on Friday. The commission collaborates with destination marketing associations, non-profit corporations and organizations to develop, promote and enhance Michigan’s travel and tourism industry. It also provides the Michigan Economic Development Corporation with input and advice regarding activities related to tourism in the state. “Sally brings a strong background and extensive experience in travel and tourism to the commission. I am confident she will continue her great work to showcase all that Pure Michigan has to offer," said Snyder. Appointees will serve four-year terms expiring Aug. 20, 2018. Their appointments are subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
