HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC) - A gun dealer whose efforts to build an indoor shooting range on its 8th Street property was thwarted by Holland City Council, on the urging of Holland Heights neighbors, apparently will follow through on threats to move out of the Tulip City. The Holland Township Planning Commission last night approved a special land use request by Bullet Hole firearms and training to open up a store and gun range on vacant property near Waverly Road and 8th Street, several blocks away from their current location. Should the township endorse a site plan, the move could come by early next year, pending finding a new tenant for the Bullet Hole’s current property. There were no complaints about the proposal during last night’s meeting, and since there are no zoning changes involved, there apparently won't be any need for the township board to vote on the matter.
