HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) -- The forecast is calling for showers and chilly temperatures but the DNR is asking for the public’s help with controlling invasive species at Holland State Park on Tuesday. Volunteers will learn to identify the plants and then properly remove them. No experience is necessary and training and equipment are provided. Volunteers should bring gloves and drinking water and wear appropriate clothing for outdoor work. The volunteer stewardship activities take place Tuesday afternoon from noon until 3 P.M. at Holland State Park.
