SAUGATUCK, MI (WHTC) - During this evening’s Saugatuck City Council meeting, an ordinance amendment involving alcohol beverage permits and licensing should remain tabled for at least two more weeks. Council has talked about the measure for a couple of weeks without coming to a consensus. Council will also consider updating the Planning Commission’s mandate to make it consistent with current state law. Allegan District Judge William Baillargeon will give an annual report, while Greg Weykamp talks about the Edgewater Resources Harbor long-term plan proposal before council members at the 7 PM session in City Hall.
