HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - We’re back to square one with gas prices along the Lakeshore.
This morning’s survey of Holland/Zeeland area stations showed a near-uniform per-gallon average of $3.65, reflective of a 20-cent jump at the pump yesterday. This is seven cents above last Friday’s level, and is even with what was seen on marquees three weeks ago. At this time in 2013, motorists were paying $3.54 per gallon. According to Gas Buddy analysts, scheduled maintenance and unscheduled malfunctions at four refineries in the Midwest are to blame for this latest spike.
Triple-A’s daily canvassing had marks of $3.47 nationally and $3.52 statewide, down a nickel and a penny, respectively, from last week.
