UNDATED (WHTC) -- The Saugatuck-Douglas library board had two items on the ballot earlier this week. Both a bond request and a millage for library operations were rejected by about 60%. Cathy Brockington, a member of the library board says they will regroup and discuss a different way to get things done.
Brockington said there are no architectural plans at this time. Some of the changes could be the size of the new building and offering a few less services to cut down the costs. This issue could end up on the ballot again in August 2015.
