HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - State transportation department staffers and Holland city representatives will meet with residents for a two-hour open house next Tuesday, August 12th, from 4 to 6 PM, at the Rock Island Family Restaurant off of M-40 and I-196. The session will deal with the future of M-40 in front of the Tulip City Truck Stop, the scene of two high-profile fatal crashes in recent years. State officials say that three different options to improve safety in that corridor will be discussed.
