UNDATED (WHTC) -- The number of new housing starts is on the rise and Consumers Energy has prepared to keep pace with the rising demand for new energy service connections by increasing their workforce with 200 new hires. Consumers Energy media specialist Roger Morgenstern, says the hiring began last year.
Consumers Energy is working with the Home Builders Association of Michigan to make improvements to the process. The projected number of new home starts is expected to be close to in 2014.
