DETROIT (WKZO) -- Former Michigan Supreme Court Justice Diane Hathaway will remain behind bars. A federal judge Tuesday denied Hathaway's request to be released from prison early. She's serving a one-year-and-one-day prison sentence for bank fraud.
Hathaway argued she made progress toward being rehabilitated and should be credited for various prison classes she attended. The former justice, who is 60, is scheduled to be released June 26th.
