ZEELAND, MI (WHTC) -- Zeeland Public Schools will take part in the “Be Nice Initiative” for the second year in a row. High School counselor Todd Kamstra says that being nice is more than on the surface. The program focuses on how people think, act and feel. It's also about bullying prevention, suicide prevention and ultimately, safing a life. The letters of “be nice” will be outlined on the field. Students and teachers will fill the letters while a helicopter flies over and takes pictures. Creekside Middle School and both ZPS High Schools will take part in the event on Thursday, May 1st.
