HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) -- May means Fiesta and one of the longest running events of its kind in West Michigan, the Latin American United for Progress (LAUP) Fiesta, takes place this Friday and Saturday. The event draws more than 20,000 attendees every year. Friday night starts off the festivities with an outdoor concert and food booths lined up and down the Eighth Street Market Place. Saturday’s Fiesta events feature the annual fiesta queen and king contest, the lowrider car show, Latino entertainment, a carnival, various exhibitors, and more food. Fiesta takes place on Friday and Saturday at the 8th St. Market and the Holland Civic Center.
