HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - The Holland City Council discussed in last night's work-study session a proposed ordinance amendment that would allow indoor shooting ranges to be built and operated within the city limits. Council members expressed concern that the decibels from such a facility proposed by Bullet Hole Gun Shop for its 8th Street property near Holland Heights may be too loud. Objections from neighbors about safety concerns in a residential area were again heard. A final vote on the measure is expected during the May 14th business meeting.
