HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) -- Sandwiched between study sessions, the Holland City Council did have a regular meeting Wednesday night. City Attorney Andrew Mulder spoke about the 425 conditional land transfer agreement between the City and Holland Township pertaining to the new BPW power plant. This mechanism is available under state law where two government jurisdictions can enter into an agreement to transfer property for purposes of economic development. This allows cities and townships to agree economic development projects that enhance the overall area. The motion to adopt the resolution of the 425 agreement was unanimous.
