UNDATED (WHTC) -- A fundraiser in memory of a Grandville High School teen who died in March takes place on Friday.   Ryan Fischer was only 17-years-old when he died as the result of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy in March.  Fischer who was co-captain of Grandville High’s hockey team died in his sleep.  Ryan’s mother and one of his friends, Morgan Carter organized the event.  A special viewing of the new movie, “Captain America-The Winter Soldier” takes place at 7 P.M. at Celebration Cinema at RiverTown Crossings Mall.  Theater general manager Betsy Artz says she was told that Captain America was one of Ryan’s favorite movies.  Tickets cost $20 and include the movie ticket, pop and popcorn.  Eight dollars of each ticket goes to the Ryan Fischer Memorial Scholarship Fund.  The special showing of “Captain America-The Winter Soldier” is scheduled for this Friday, April 18th.  Artz said that they will make another theater available for the movie if enough people attend.
