UNDATED (WHTC) - The Detroit Tigers open up a three-game series at San Diego this evening. Coverage from Petco Park on 1450 WHTC begins at 9:45 PM.

Pedro Alvarez’ three-run homer capped a five-run seventh-inning rally by Pittsburgh, as the visiting Pirates defeated the Cubs yesterday, 5-4. Chicago begins a three-game series at St. Louis this evening.

Jose Abreu hit two homers and drove in three runs, while Alexei Ramirez homered and drove in three more, as the White Sox beat visiting Cleveland last night, 7-3. The series at US Cellular Field in Chicago continues this evening.
