V-Mart Salvages' a Tiger Split in Chavez Ravine; Wings Clinch Playoff Berth

UNDATED (WHTC) - Victor Martinez’ solo homer in the top of the 10th inning enabled the Tigers to beat the Dodgers in Los Angeles last night, 7-6. Detroit opens a three-game series in San Diego tomorrow evening; coverage on 1450 WHTC is at 9:45 PM.

Mike Ott homered and drove in three runs as the Cubs downed visiting Pittsburgh last night, 7-5. The rubber game of the series at Wrigley Field in Chicago is this afternoon.
