UNDATED (WHTC) - Ian Kinsler homered in the fourth inning and singled in the 10th, driving in both runs as the Tigers edged visiting Kansas City yesterday, 2-1. Detroit goes for the series sweep of the Royals at Comerica Park this afternoon. Coverage on 1450 WHTC begins at 12:40 PM.

Tony Sanchez’ 16th-inning single plated the winning run as Pittsburgh outlasted the visiting Cubs last night, 4-3. The Pirates go for the series sweep of Chicago at PNC Park this afternoon.

The White Sox slipped past Minnesota yesterday, 7-6, as Sam Deduno wild pitched the winning run home in the bottom of the 11th inning. Chicago goes for the series sweep of the Twins at US Cellular Field this afternoon.
