UNDATED (WHTC) -- Michigan’s Healthy Kids Dental program is expanding and adding Ottawa County to the program. Along with Ottawa, two other Michigan counties, Ingham and Washtenaw, are also being added which means 64-thousand children are being added to the program. Michigan Department of Community Health’s Angela Minicucci says anyone who's eligible is automatically enrolled. Eligibility is based on family income and Medicaid eligibility and that information comes from the Department of Human Services. Families with eligible children will be sent information on providers and how the program works.
