HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) -- The Hope College Knickerbocker Theater is opening its fall film series this evening. A Woody Allen film “Blue Jasmine” is the first in the series. The movie is Allen’s latest effort and the lead character is played by Cate Blanchett as elegant New York Socialite, Jasmine. The film also stars Alec Baldwin, Sally Hawkins and Louie C K. The film will be shown at 7:30 p.m. through Saturday. Other movies in the series are: The Girls in the Band, Austenland, Still Mine and Wadja. Showtime is always at 7:30 p.m. and the films will air Monday through Saturday.
