UNDATED (WHTC) -- The Affordable Care Act is slated to go in to affect next Tuesday, October 1st. The Department of Health and Human Services finds that in Michigan, consumers will see increased competition in the Health Insurance Marketplace. The report goes on to say that Michigan consumers will have a choice between more than 40 health plans. Consumers will find out whether they qualify for premium assistance and compare plans based on pricing, quality and benefits. No one will be denied coverage due to preexisting conditions.
