DETROIT (WKZO) -- Detroit officials are anticipating an announcement from the feds about an influx of 100-million dollars for the city.  The money, which would a combination of federal dollars and private funds, is slated to pay for demolition of blighted properties, additional policing in the city and transportation.

Three federal officials are due in Detroit Friday to reveal the specifics.  Housing and Urban Development Secretary Shaun Donovan, Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx and Attorney General Holder will meet with Detroit Mayor Dave Bing and Governor Snyder.
