ALLEGAN, MI (WHTC) -- A Bar-b-Que Chicken Dinner to benefit the Allegan Special Olympics takes place this Saturday, September 28th. The dinner includes a half chicken, beans, cole slaw, chips, roll and soft drink for nine dollars. The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for all children and adults with intellectual or physical disabilities. The Bar-b-Que takes place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Allegan Masonic Lodge 111, located at 1268 32nd Avenue.
