UNDATED (WHTC) -- An early morning accident has taken the life of a 38-year-old Spring Lake man. Both vehicles in the accident were 18-wheelers and they crashed head-on about 6 a.m. on I-196 near South Haven. State police have not released the man’s name. The two people in the other truck were injured and at this time, there is no further information on them. M-live is reporting that the man worked for a Holland trucking company and that the owner said he was a “very good employee.” Helen Zeerip, owner of Teddy’s Transport, says she plans to set up a donation fund to help the family with expenses.
