UNDATED (WHTC) -- Today is National POW/MIA Recognition Day. It’s a day to remember and honor the nearly 16-hundred Americans still missing from the Vietnam War, including 49 from Michigan, along with 75-hundred unaccounted for from the Korean War. The Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency held a ceremony today at the State Capitol. National POW/MIA Recognition Day is held each year on the third Friday of September. As you’re going here and there today, give a thought for those who are still missing.
