ZEELAND, MI (WHTC) - Shareholders and investors will learn more during a webcast this morning about Herman Miller’s first quarter results. The Zeeland-based office furniture maker announced after the markets closed yesterday net sales of 468 million dollars, up four percent from the same three-month period a year ago, with new orders higher at 471 million, and earnings of 22.5 million, or 38 cents per share. Company officials cite continued progress in the execution of their strategy and operating improvements as factors in the quarterly performance.
