UNDATED (WHTC) -- An accident just before noon had traffic backed up a bit at the intersection of 112th Avenue and Quincy Street. The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office says they were dispatched to the accident about 11:55 a.m. When they arrived on scene, one of the vehicles had hit a house. Holland Township resident, 71-year-old Marilyn Hulft was traveling northboundon 112th Avenue, stopped for the stop sign at Quincy Street and then pulled out in front of a vehicle driven by 72-year-old James Jurries of Park Township. The vehicle driven by Ms. Hulft left the roadway and traveled approximately 175 feet before hitting a residence. No one was home at the time. The damage to her vehicle made it necessary for emergency crews to extricate her and take her to Holland Hospital for treatment for minor injuries. Mr. Jurries declined medical care.
