UNDATED (WHTC) - Gas prices along the Lakeshore have plummeted to depths not seen since before Independence Day, as this morning’s weekly survey of Holland area stations showed a per-gallon average of $3.48. Rates ranged from $3.38 in West Olive to $3.57 in Saugatuck. That’s down 16 cents over a seven-day span, and is more than a half-dollar below what motorists were paying a year ago at this time ($4.00). Triple-A’s daily canvassing had marks of $3.54 nationally and $3.57 statewide.
