UNDATED (WHTC) -- The scheduled arraignment of Eric Knysz on murder charges in the death of a Michigan State Trooper is being delayed. Officials in Mason County say the 19-year-old was scheduled to have more surgery Thursday for a gunshot wound he suffered after killing trooper Paul Butterfield. Knysz is being treated at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. His wife Sarah Knysz was arraigned yesterday on charges related to the couple fleeing the scene after Butterfield was shot. She is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing on September 25th.
