BANGOR, MI (WKZO/WHTC) - A couple believed to be responsible for burglaries and home invasions in half a dozen west Michigan Counties, has been arrested and charged with multiple felony counts in Van Buren County. Deputies received information that one of them sold stolen property to a local business. They tracked their blue Hyundai to the Bangor area where a traffic stop was made. A warrant was obtained to search their home in Waverly Township and they found guns, electronic equipment and jewelry worth thousands of dollars, most of it believed to be stolen from homes in Van Buren, Osceola, Mecosta, Kent, Allegan and Kalamazoo counties. They also found some stolen merchandise in their car, as 34-year-old Lori Ann Evans is being held on 125-thousand dollars bond, and bond was set for 26-year-old David Lee Evans at a quarter million dollars.
