UNDATED (WHTC) -- The human remains found last Sunday along the Grand River Basin in Georgetown Township near 12th and Taylor have been identified. Lt Mark Bennett says a citizen walking in that area late Sunday afternoon came across the remains. Bennett says they were taken to Holland Community Hospital and identified by a forensic odontologist as 60-year-old Gail Maselink of Georgetown Township. He says that Maselink had been missing since December 24th, 2012 but her abandoned vehicle was found in the vicinity of her remains. A forensic anthropologist will determine the cause of death. Anyone with information should contact SILENT OBSERVER at 877-88SILENT.
