HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - Despite the threat of US military strikes in Syria that could have an effect on crude oil production and distribution throughout the Middle East, gas prices along the Lakeshore continue to be somewhat moderate. This morning’s survey of Holland area stations showed a per-gallon average of $3.64, down four pennies from the last poll conducted two weeks ago, and 16 cents less than what motorists were paying at this time in 2012. Rates ranged from $3.57 in Fennville to $3.74 in Zeeland. Triple-A's daily canvassing had marks of $3.58 nationally and $3.69 statewide.
