UNDATED (WHTC) -- The “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaign is in full swing and one group is very happy about that. Mothers Against Drunk Drivers says high-visibility law enforcement is a proven way to reduce drunk-driving deaths. Sobriety checkpoints are illegal under Michigan law but police patrols have been increased on this weekend. Michigan off ice of Highway Safety Planning spokesperson Melody Kindraka says the police will be looking for drunk drivers and drivers not wearing seatbelts.
