PARK TOWNSHIP, MI (WHTC) --The battle to keep overdevelopment from taking over Park Township could continue. Last week, the Macatawa Area Residents for Fair Development Board took a vote and unanimously decided to begin submit the lawsuit to the Michigan Supreme Court. MARFD filed a lawsuit against Park Township over the rezoning of the Point West property as a residential community. The Michigan Circuit Court rejected the group’s claims and the Michigan Court of appeals declined to hear MARFD’s appeal. If the case makes it to the Supreme Court, it will be to decide whether the Appeals Court was right in their decision.
