DAYTON, OH (WHTC) - Two men are being sought in the shooting death of a 42-year-old traveling salesman from Plainwell.
Allen Lindenman was in the apartment of a friend in Dayton last Saturday night when the suspects, described as younger black men wearing hoodies and dark pants, stormed the unit in an apparent robbery attempt. Lindenman was in a bedroom when one of the men fired two rounds from a shotgun, striking him in the chest and arm, and killing him instantly. No others in the apartment were hurt.
Investigators say that the victim had been known to flash large amounts of money in area pool halls, which may have enticed the suspects to target him. An investigation continues.
