HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - The Lakeshore is getting its first weather calling card from Old Man Winter this morning.

A mix of rain, sleet and snow descended on the Holland area overnight, causing a glazing of roads and leading to a number of slide-offs and fender benders, most notably along the I-196 corridor between Zeeland and Hudsonville. There were also a good amount of downed power lines throughout Allegan and Ottawa counties, with the heavest concentration of Consumers Energy customers without electricity noted south of West Michigan Regional Airport towards Hamilton and Fennville. There were no initial reports of any injuries suffered as a direct result of the weather.
