HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) -- A member of Hope College’s Women’s volleyball team has been named as the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Position Player of the Week. Hope senior Courtney Earles is the middle hitter for Hope, totaling 21 kills for an attack percentage of .556 and six blocks last week. Her efforts helped the Flying Dutch win two matches and a share of first place in the MIAA standings. Earles is a graduate of East Kentwood High School. She is being honored as Player of the Week for the first time in her career.
