SOUTH HAVEN, MI (WHTC) - Bond was set at 250 thousand dollars yesterday in South Haven District Court for Michael Warner. The 32-year-old Otsego man, already wanted on a parole violation for disconnecting an electronic tether, was arraigned on seven more criminal charges stemming from a two-day flight from justice last week that included a high-speed police chase, a home burglary that included stealing rifles, and a lengthy search in a wooded area near Bloomingdale that led to the lockdown of several schools as a precaution. As a convicted felon, Warner could get double the length of any sentencing if he is found guilty of these new charges, which include weapon larceny, vehicle theft, and fleeing and eluding.
